SERVICE OVERVIEW

What is ESI Registration?

ESI Registration brings an establishment under the Employees' State Insurance Act, 1948, administered by the ESI Corporation. It is mandatory for establishments employing 10 or more persons (the threshold varies by state) where employees earn wages up to the prescribed ceiling. Both employer and covered employees contribute a percentage of wages towards the scheme, providing medical care, cash benefits during sickness or maternity, and compensation for employment-related disability through the ESI Corporation network of hospitals and dispensaries.
